They charged my card right away through Booked.net, but it said they were only using that card to reserve my room. I had to call after my stay to have the payment refunded and charged to the correct card (the card that we asked them to charge when we were at the hotel). This was an inconvenience. I believe it was mostly the fault of Booked.net

was n't expecting to have a kitchen. we really loved location and staff, everything necessary for a vacation was provided. we had a great stay here, strongly recommend it.

Convenient location - close to outdoor market, restaurants, and bars, making it easy to explore and have a great time. Fun spiral stairs leading to the bedroom added a unique touch. The large and well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze.

Not enough light in the dark room...needed either some overhead lighting or wall lighting. Bed was not comfortable, and bed pillows were actually awful. It's too bad that we will remember our stay from the pilllows, which should be so easy to fix. Hope this helps.

I especially loved the unique layout of the loft-style rooms, where the bedroom was up a spiral staircase, adding a charming touch to the overall experience. None - everything was perfect.

The Lodge Alley Inn Charleston offers a fantastic location in the heart of the historic district. You can easily walk to all the great sites and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel welcome throughout your stay. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious, with thoughtful details like a bedroom up a spiral staircase in a loft, complete with a mini fridge and microwave. Additionally, the hotel has a lovely courtyard with tables for happy hour and a delicious breakfast option.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my visit. The hotel facilities were excellent, from the cozy gas fireplace in my room to the beautiful courtyard outside, perfect for soaking up the sunshine. The location was a major highlight, as it was right in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The staff provided exceptional hospitality, making check-in a breeze with the help of the friendly bellmen on duty.

During my Christmas stay, two great things offered were clean and comfortable rooms with friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located making it easy to explore the area by foot. the outdoor patio made for a great spot to enjoy happy hour.

There were some negative aspects of my stay. The noise level was high, making it difficult to fully relax.
